Summary: | <b>Abstract :</b><p align=\"justify\">Development of SIMCD (Simulasi Untuk MonoChloroDecane) software prototype has been studied in this thesis. In the chemical plant pre design, this software could be used as a tool for calculation of equipment dimensions. The other feature of the software is dynamic model simulation of MCD plant. <br />
<p align=\"justify\">SIMCD was developed by using object oriented method. Each equipment was represented as an object, equipment dimensions were represented as object attributes, while procedures to calculate the dimension and solve the dynamic model as methods of object. <br />
<p align=\"justify\">The result of the analysis phase is the model of problem as object diagram. Software design derived from the object model. Considering the. development tools, e.g. Borland Delphi, we get design which ready to implemented. Program code was written in Borland Delphi Ver. 2. <br />
<p align=\"justify\">Software development verification was carried out through testing in analysis. design and implementation phase and testing with test case to validate that the software functionally correct. |
