Summary: | Education is one of the important things in Indonesia, which can be seen from the interest of high
school students to continue to pursue their goals by continuing education at a higher level, namely
the university level. XYZ was built to help high school students who want to continue their
education to college by providing learning assistance that can be accessed at anywhere and at any
time, as a company (profit for benefit) XYZ uses a portion of its income for social activities.
However, it is not always run smoothly as XYZ wishes. In its implementation XYZ experienced
several obstacles, namely the number of competitors and in the certain month students who
registered to participate in the XYZ program experienced a decline.
This study aims to provide input in the form of innovations that can help XYZ in increasing the
number of students who use XYZ, and help XYZ to increase its income, some of which is 80%
used for social activities, namely free schools for Early Childhood Education for the communities
around where XYZ is located. This research was conducted using the canvas business model
approach, in which this business model can help in improving existing business models. So, it can
provide business model innovations that can be used by XYZ to overcome the problems currently
they experienced.
Innovations that can be made to the XYZ business model, that is providing new services according
to consumer needs, so that XYZ can increase the number of users of XYZ services and provide
new sources of income for XYZ, by opening learning services face to face advance, both in the
classroom and in private programs. The analysis is done by getting business issues, approaching
consumer needs, and planning for new business models. |
