Indonesia Theses Cash Account Management Agreement, CAMA in Banking, Risk of CAMA Automation in a Bank, CAMA Acceptance Level in a Bank INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/47634 PT. Bank Yellow Indonesia (pseudonym) is developing a system to make the CAMA process become automated. CAMA itself is a “Cash Account Management Agreement”, it is an agreement of cash management between the bank and the debtor. This agreement is used specifically for the project financing loan because the risk from this type of loan is relatively higher than other kinds of loans. Therefore, the bank used CAMA to compensate the risks from project financing loans. The reason behind the development of this system is to minimize the risk of human error that has occurred several times and had a significant impact on this bank. Lack of monitoring by the employees and weak verification method are the main reason behind this problem. Operate the CAMA automatically would significantly create a better verification method, and everyone can monitor the process directly. However, the process of CAMA is a crucial aspect for the company, the system should be created as good as possible to maximize its goal to create a better CAMA process. Currently, this bank does not know how the system will be accepted by its employees. Moreover, they wanted to know what are the possible risks that might happen if they operate the CAMA automatically by the system. The purpose of this research is to analyze the level of acceptance of CAMA automation, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use are the primary aspects of this analysis. If the employees give a positive response to the usefulness and ease of use, then the level of acceptance for CAMA automation is high. Furthermore, this research will analyze all the possible risks of using the system of CAMA. The likelihood and the level of impact are two critical points in this analysis. Eventually, this research will give some solutions and recommendations for the company on how to increase the level of acceptance, and how to prevent and mitigate the possible risks from the CAMA automation. The methodology of this research is focused on a qualitative approach to get a reliable analysis. Primary and secondary data are combined to support the analysis of this research. Primary data are taken from the interviews with seven people who will use the system later on, the interviews held in March 2020. The secondary data are taken from the internet, such as the company’s annual report and the other related information that might be useful for additional analysis. The results of this study indicate that the employees believe this system is vital and will make their work becomes more efficient and would minimize human error, which often occurs in the current process. On the other hand, they found that this system is still confusing with too many errors, so it will take some time for them to learn and understand the system before the management start to implement the system. Also, there will be some risks that may occur when they start using this system, and the one that has the highest risk is when they input the wrong schemes of CAMA to the system. The preventive and mitigation actions that can be done by the management is to have a structural user acceptance test with all the people involved in the CAMA process before they implement the system. The structural user acceptance test will make the employees who are involved in the CAMA process can fully understand how to use the system properly. At the same time, it will also help them to improve the system so it could minimize the likelihood of the technical issues. text |

PT.
