The difficulty of sample alignment has been solved by making a pedestal for cryostat that can be translated vertically and horizontally as well as rotated on certain angle.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> <br /> <br /> The previous software has been modified and can be used to detect photoluminescence by scanning all range of wavelength.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> <br /> <br /> The performance of hardware and software has been tested by detecting the spectrum of Mercury light. The spectrum is consistent with the original spectrum of Mercury. Photoluminescence characterization of porous Silicon was similar with another researcher using a different spectrometer configuration.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> <br /> text
