Discharge process in lightning phenomena is a random process therefore to study lightning characteristics, statistic method can be applied by modeling those lightning characteristics. Data is represented by suitable distribution function. <p align=\"justify\"><br />
Lightning data in present study divided by two type i.e. spatial data and temporal data. Spatial data consist of two type data i.e. those from lightning stroke on the land and on the sea. Temporal data also consist of two type data i.e. those from lightning stroke duration from 10.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. (noon data) and from lightning stroke duration from 10.00 p.m. to 8.00 am. (night data). <p align=\"justify\"> <br />
The aim of research: first, to get statistic descriptive of the spatial and temporal data. Second, to get suitable distribution for lightning characteristics. |
