Description
Summary:Malware is a software that is designed to corrupt or break a system. Malware can take on many forms with each one causing a different impact. One of the prime examples of a malware is called ransomware. Ransomware is a type of malware that can lock an access to data even from the owner itself, usually with an objective to ask for ransom from the owner to get access to the previously locked data. The amount of loss produced by ransomware reached an astounding amount of billions of Rupiah. To minimize the loss produced by ransomware, Malwarefox was used in the year 2019. Graph Model was used to depicts the connection between an individual in a population that causes the spread of ransomware, where ransomware was modeled after SIRD (Suspected Infected Recovered or Death). Next, the optimal period to spread the antivirus will be sought to every country. The results of the optimal period various between country, but it can be concluded that the greater the chance of spreading ransomware to a country, the earlier the optimal period of the spread of anti-virus will be.
