<b></i>Abstract :</b><i><p align=\"justify\"> <br /> The study of this thesis was to design a database of management information system of PT.Nayaka Era Husada Bandung Branch in order to support company performance in optimizing health service and anticipating an increasing number of membership. <br /> <p align=\"justify\"> Nowadays, the company\'s operations have been supported by a conventional management information system in which data was managed (created, modified, saved) by each company section. The differences of each company section functions and processes cause data input repeatment so delay and inconsistency of data/information supply happen. <br /> <p align=\"justify\"> The objectives of the database designment of management information system of PT.Nayaka Era Husada Bandung Branch are to prepare : an availability of complete-consistent-correct data/ information, an efficiency data/information processing in order to anticipate an increasing number of membership, and an adaptability to business environment changes. <br /> <p align=\"justify\"> The database designment started with recognized each company section functions and their mechanism operations one to another by process flow chart. Then, the needed data/information for each company section, resources of data/information, data/information output and intersectional data/information flow were identified by data flow chart. The performance criteria are : Quality (complete, correct, consistent, accurate), Cost (cheap), Delivery (availability, shareability, integrity), Flexibility (evolvability). <br /> <p align=\"justify\"> The result of the designment database of management information system of PT.Nayaka Era Husada Bandung Branch were Relational structured database that consist of twelve main files and Functional Subsystem method to organize those files The information output are Monitoring Information, Investigational Information, and Action Information. <br /> <p align=\"justify\"> The discussion of the problem had been limited to the database designment and the next step of hardware, software, procedure, and human resources procurement as management information system components, could be developed according to the company circumstances.
