Summary: | Cardiovascular disesases/CVDs (penyakit kardiovaskular) are a group of disorders of the heart and blood vessels. They are also the number 1 cause of death globally. In Indonesia, it is estimated that at least 15 out of 1000 Indonesian citizens suffer from heart disease. The number of new cases are increasing every year. Based on data obtained, Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial Kesehatan (BPJS Kesehatan) has been experiencing budget deficit from 2014 to 2018. Catastrophic illnesses such as heart diseases are suspected to be one of the leading cause. This research was done using the sample data of BPJS Kesehatan from 2015 to 2016. Reserve fund calculation for heart disesases will be done to determine the impact of heart disease on BPJS Kesehatan’s budget deficit in 2015 and 2016. Evaluation of the amount of premium determined by BPJS Kesehatan will also be done. |
