Summary: | Industry 4.0, which originally born in Germany in 2017, has the main goal so that all processes in the company can be carried out with decentralization. Industry 4.0 concept is the use of technology and digitalization in terms of data retrieval. By applying this concept, it is expected that the time to market of the products can be faster and allow for product customization without a significant increase in costs. But one that is considered negative impact is the data overload. Indonesia responded to this era by presenting the Making Indonesia 4.0 program in 2018 which subsequently made a matrix to assess the readiness of industries in Indonesia to go to Industry 4.0. The matrix, named INDI 4.0, has 5 main pillars broken down into 17 fields. Each field can be assessed from level 0 to 4. Many companies have not yet made improvements to Industry 4.0 due to the not knowing the starting point of improvement so it is feared that the improvements made will not be effective. To that end, this study aims to make a number configuration for priority matrix for Indonesia. To simplify the calculation of large numbers, a simple tool was constructed to help calculate priority matrices for Indonesia. The study was conducted by modifying the prioritisation matrix made by EDB, which is changing the company's readiness matrix from SIRI to INDI 4.0. After the number configuration is obtained, the configuration is entered into the built tool, used for the calculation process. The tool can show the results of the field which according to the calculation results become the starting point of the company's improvement towards Industry 4.0. This priority matrix was tested on two case study companies and the result is being said as a success after confirming it to the company's CEO. |
