| Summary: | In this era, the need for the internet is one of the main needs of the community, to support the development of this era, it is necessary to have a wide and evenly distributed internet service throughout the country. Considering geographical conditions in Indonesia, BAKTI (Telecommunications and Information Accessibility Agency) as a government body that has the authority to accelerate the distribution of internet services for 3T regions in Indonesia, BAKTI will accelerate internet services in 3T regions with VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal). VSAT need to connect with the existing internet network, the steps needed are first by configuring the VSAT Modem so that the VSAT system can be connected to the internet service provider. The current problem is that modem monitoring media that can be easily accessed by technicians and service users is not yet available which results in both technicians and service users not being able to monitor the modem. At the moment, access to modem monitoring media is only owned by VSAT internet service providers that cannot provide free access to service users or technicians. The purpose of making the final project OSS (Operation Support System) is to be able to overcome the existing problem that is to provide modem monitoring media that can be accessed easily, furthermore we hope this project could help the work of technician on the field. The method used in the making is to identify problems, determine and synchronize functional and design needs, comparison and evaluation of alternative concepts, the manufacturing process and the results testing process. The results of this project would be an mobile application that have monitoring feature along with other features that could help the work of technician.
