Summary: | Indonesia is an archipelago that has around 17 thousand islands from Sabang to Merauke. The equitable distribution of internet access needs to be improved for the welfare of its people. This is a challenge for the Indonesian government to provide the right solution. One of the solutions that are implemented to provide internet access using VSAT in regions that are not covered by optical fiber networks, especially in 3T regions. The role of the government does not extend to the provision of VSAT, the government must also give responsibilities to service providers for the quality of internet access. It is important so that users do not feel disappointed if the internet access used is interrupted. Network monitoring has a strong role to determine the performance of network devices and their availability. Therefore, the purpose of making the final project is to be able to monitor the VSAT network devices to show the availability of network devices and also give an alert if some failures happened. The method used is to identify problems, identifying technical requirements, determining alternative designs, implementing, and testing the results of implementation. The result of implementation is that the system can provide data visualization based on data that has been taken from network devices. Data was taken in the form of up time, traffic, and signal quality received by the VSAT network device. |
