Summary: | Digital Video Broadcasting is the standard for digital television inaugurated by ETSI in the year 2007. DVB-T Technology can multiply multiple programs at once. Six broadcast programs can be inserted at once into a TV channel with a bandwidth of 8MHz, with quite good quality. Starting in early 2012, Indonesia will implement the DVB-T2 standard which is the second generation of the DVB-T standard. Based on data on the results of the survey by the Ministry of Communications and Informatics of the Republic of Indonesia (Kominfo) in 2015, 86.7% or equal to 56.4 million households in Indonesia have access to television devices. The data shows high content of broadcast that will be accepted by the public so that a system is required to monitor the broadcast content based on regulations in Indonesia. The remote monitoring system of digital video broadcasting is designed in a device connected to a DVB-T2 receiver antenna. The device can search for the frequency of digital television broadcasts and convert them into a file that can be read by the system. The file will be transcoded by VLC and forwarded to web streaming server as well as displayed on the web application so that it can be accessed by users through the browsers. Web application can only be accessed by users who have registered an account to the database. Web application is designed to have some buttons that can search and convert the frequency of digital television, display information in the form of channel name and frequency, broadcast digital television, and record digital television. |
