WATER ALLOCATION STUDY OF CIBEREUM - CIMAHI WATERSHED PROVINCE OF CENTRAL JAVA, BASED ON WEAP (WATER EVALUATION AND PLANNING)
The competition to get water is increased caused by both the population of people and the utilization of water are increased. Especially when the dry season, clean water crises often occur due to decreased water debit and uncontrolled ground water exploitation. As happened in the Cimahi City, accord...

INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/48110 The competition to get water is increased caused by both the population of people and the utilization of water are increased. Especially when the dry season, clean water crises often occur due to decreased water debit and uncontrolled ground water exploitation. As happened in the Cimahi City, according to Badan Penanggulangan Bencana, in 2017 and 2018 the exploitation of ground water for industrial development resulted in a water crisis of as many as 4000 people. The concept of water supply and demand needs to be well understood so that the problems raised can be overcome. One of the solution is the allocation of water must be fair, efficient and sustainable so that water resources can provide great benefits to the society. This study aims to identify the supply and demand of water in Cibeureum - Cimahi watershed by making water allocations using the WEAP (Water Eveluation And Planning) decision support system. The Cibeureum-Cimahi watershed is one of the water sources that covers the Cimahi City area because it is located at an altitude in the north ± 1,040 meters above sea level which is the slope of Mount Burangrang and the southern part around ± 685 meters above sea level which leads to the Citarum River. In this study two scenarios were made, the first scenario is the expansion of Situ Lembang, then the second scenario is the expansion of Situ Lembang and the Development of the Lembang Dua Reservoir. The analysis used includes rainfall analysis, calibration of the model with NRECA and F.J Mock models, analysis of water supply, analysis of water demand, and simulation of water allocation using a support system for decision making WEAP (Water Eveluation And Planning). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the NRECA method has an error number of 0.66 and a correlation coefficient of 0.21 which indicates this method is better when compared with F.J Mock. In addition, the analysis using DSS WEAP Software in Scenario 1 shows that demand water for RKI dereased from 21.96% to 14.98% and demand water for irrigation decreased from 22.16% to 14.24%. Where as in Scenario 2 it was found that demand water for RKI decreased from 21.96% to 9.71%, and demand water for irrigation decreased from 22.16% to 9.6%. The results of this study indicate that scenario 1 can reduce the supply failure rate by 12.83% and scenario 2 can reduce the supply failure rate by 22.36%. text |
