Description
Summary:The Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia as the largest archipelago in the world with an area of 5.8 million km2 should have a reliable telecommunications strategy. One technology that must be developed is satellite technology to support the structure of information and telecommunications in Indonesia. The satellite technology that can be developed is Mobile VSAT. A solution for VSAT communication that can be mobilized and mobilized to every place in Indonesia in a short time. . Mobile VSAT is an innovative device from VSAT. This technology uses an antenna system with an auto-pointing feature that can be mounted on a moving vehicle, one of which is a car. To support the work functions of the VSAT mobile, a transmitter antenna is needed. This antenna will emit electromagnetic waves, which convert waves which are electrical signals in the transmission line into electromagnetic signals to convert electromagnetic waves in free space into electrical signals which are then transmitted to the source through the transmission line. Therefore, in this final project a transmitter antenna for mobile VSAT on the KU-Band frequency of 14.1 GHz is designed in the form of a microstrip and patch array design. The scope of work of this transmitter antenna is focused on strengthening the required gain of around 12 dB with circular polarization.
