</b>Abstract:<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> As time goes by, entering the free competitive market era, there are no more entry barriers between countries in the world. Indonesia, one of the countries who has ratified the free commerce agreements such as APEC, WTO and AFTA, must face the tough situation regardless of its readiness. Therefore there will be an increasing demand of product quality which must fulfill the consumer need and an increasing need of quality standard which conforms to the international standard. Thus more efforts are needed to ratify the ISO 9000 certificate in order to win the free market competition later. <p align=\"justify\"> <br /> PT. IRC INOAC INDONESIA, who markets its products abroad, must be able to anticipate the world commerce trend through the products which can serve the consumer taste and conforms to ISO 9000. It is urgently needed to investigate the company readiness to adapt quality standards conforms to ISO 9000.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> Questionnaire developed by Richard B. Clements and Perry L. Johnson is used extensively in this research to inspect the company readiness to fulfill ISO 9002, the most suitable form of ISO 9000 to company conditions and which regularly applied to companies whose activities are centered in production and installation.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> The author finds the strong readiness of company to apply ISO 9002, though there are some flaws indicated by some low score elements that must be recovered. As soon as the recovery process is accomplished, a qualified consultant is needed to do an external audit of the company and to act as an ISO 9002 registrar body.<p align=\"justify\">
