Summary:Ciletuh Geopark area is located on the southern coast of Java which causes this area vulnerable to tsunami hazard that often occurs on the southern coast of Java due to subduction at the sea bed of the Indian Ocean. For this reason, this thesis determined the level of vulnerability to tsunami events in the Ciletuh Geopark Area. To determine the value of vulnerability to tsunami in this study, several data are used, such as topographic data, land cover data, population data and earthquake data. Tsunami modeling in this study uses COMCOT numerical modeling to produce scenarios of tsunamis and immersion values caused by tsunamis. By analyzing land cover affected by the tsunami from existing data and modeling results, the total result of land cover with submerged areas which affected by tsunami reached 467.29 Ha with the types of land cover submerged include rice fields, fields, ponds, and several other types of land cover. Furthermore, there are villages in the Ciletuh Geopark Area which have a high level of vulnerability to tsunami.
