However, flood events have never been recorded and study for the losses and investment cost of flood control has never been carried out Flood analysis was carried out using the HSS SCS method and flood modeling using Mike Flood software gives the result that the capacity of the Sungai Piayu is unable to drain the flood discharge design. The result of optimization study shows that Tanjung Piayu flood control investment is feasible in any return period. However, the optimum investment is by 25 year return period. text
