IMPROVEMENT OF ENTREPRENEURIAL BEHAVIOR ASSESSMENT IN AMA CORPU, TELKOM CORPORATE UNIVERSITY

The development of the digital world and also the world of startup today is growing even more rapidly. PT. Telecommunications Indonesia, as one of the state-owned companies engaged in digital service providers in 2017, formed the Amoeba Development Program (PDA) to respond to rapid changes in the digital and strategic world. The problem with PDAs at AMA CorpU is that there is currently no startup/Amoeba that can reach the graduation stage. The graduation stage itself is the stage where Amoeba's startup is considered viable in commercialization to become a child or grandchild of PT. Telkom.that challenge. There are several reasons for this problem, such as performance management, market trends and also lack of training and people development. Those things confirmed by the results of interviews with CEO AMA Corpu and also CHCGAO AMA hub. Who said one of the problems was the ineffective development of innovators in PDAs due to the absence of an entrepreneurial assessment system on the program, especially at AMA CorpU, which was the object of this thesis. Therefore, this thesis aims to develop an entrepreneurial assessment system for innovators as a source of data for making amoeba innovator training and development programs. In compiling an entrepreneurial behavior assessment system, the first-time data collection done through in-depth interviews with management and amoeba innovators at AMA CorpU. Internal analysis and analysis of the old assessment system also carried out to explore the real potential. Existing data is then combined with existing theories to form a new entrepreneurial behavior assessment system. An entrepreneurial behavior system developed using the entrepreneurship competency theory approach and assessment system method, then combined with other assessment theories that are compatible with AMA CorpU. The results of this research are a new behavioral assessment system that was developed with the assessment centre method and the entrepreneurship competency approach, while at the same time considering methods that are suitable for AMA CorpU conditions. The author proposes a new method in combination with a behavioral assessment method that can ultimately benefit AMA CorpU in creating an innovator development program that is appropriate to the needs of the innovators themselves.
