<b></i>Abstract :</b><i><p align=\"justify\"> <br /> In the mid of 1977 occurred a crisis which triggered by currency devaluation of Thailand and it was then quikly distributing into several both East and Souteast Asian Countries. That crisis fluctuation has spread. In the widely scale. In order to know how region can survive and success for dealing with economic depression that striking its region down, so the regional economic resilience comprehension is need and its exploitation in the context of regional development.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> The study phases are followed in order to achieve that objective are following: first phase is to study the concept of regional economic resilience. Resilience can be studied from unity of three phenomena. Firstly, the existence of economic depression striking down that region. Secondly, the existence of recovery strength of that economic depression. Thirdly, the occurrence of structural change. All three cases, in addition to, those relate with either internal of external condition effect of that region. To support those all three of regional economic resilience concept, the variables are established in order that resilience can be empirically measured. Second, phase, determination of the regional study according to that study objective. The determination of regional study is determined from the difference of main concern filed structural diversification level of their household. Finally, this study will establish the conclusion of regional economic resilience level by considering the level of depression is experienced by a region strength or the capability of economic condition recovery as consequence of economic depression existence and the structural change occurs on that region.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> This study obtains an illustration that cyclic impulse was divided into two types. First type of demand fluctuation on the wider region results in cyclic depression on the national level. Second type from both impulses is that the resulted impulses from regional pressure merely, and futhermore those are transmitted in the entire of regional system through the interregional relatedness. Impact of the economic depression occurs, in addition to those are influenced by those impulses from out of region are also made heavier by the impact of pressure strength from internal region itself. Internal pressure of South Cimahi sub-district region is heavier rather than Ketapang sub-district. Heavy pressure derived from internal region of South Cimahi Subdistrict rather than Ketapang one, it is also supported by the realization of poor company\'s performance in South Cimahi sub-district rather than Ketapang one.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> This study showed also that significant recovery on the migration variable of out of that region, whereas on the variable of location removal and household variable reobtained an employment after having a lay off there was not significant difference between Ketapang sub-district and South Cimahi. There was no difference available influenced by reality that growth momentwu decreased throughly, so an absolute degradation occurred. Related with recovery capability, performance of the migration on level of out of region of Ketapang sub-district was better rather than South Cimahi one. That condition related closely with the availability chance of employment in formal sector of Ketapang sub-district was greater rather than South Cimahi sub-district.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> This study also owned the limitations for regionaly charachteristic with various kinds. Other limitation was that on limited time scale for the regional structural change. A researcher\'s limitation also influenced the precise of statistical estimation made considering the relative little samples number in this study.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> This study provided a benefit for the regional development in the context of creating regional economic soundness, so we necessarily known to the extent of which relative position a region toward other region. This comprehension was necessarily known order that economic degradation momenttuu in other regions no carrying the deeply consequences for that regional economic economic. Other benefit can be obtained from this study for the regional development related with we necessarily considered intersectoral balance in those regions in order that there was no occurrence the sectoral dominance or mining business field. Other benefits were obtained from this study, namely, in estasblishing the objectives of regional development, so planner necessarily knew the occurred pattern in a region because the availability of dynamic condition in the dynamics of regional development. <br /> <br />
