Summary: | <b>Abstract :</b><p align=\"justify\"> Marine and coastal resources have become an alternative choice for development in Indonesia in the future because they have big potency to developed. Unfortunately, in many coastal resources utilization region (including at Kepulauan Seribu, Jakarta) has occured highly exploitation regime that threatened the sustainability of marine and coastal resources, biodiversity, and the coastal community economic sustaniablity. Many problems in marine and coastal development like coastal environment damage and poverty will arise if there is no effort to change that condition. <br />
<p align=\"justify\">The development in coastal area must be done with holistic, not partially with consider the resources condition and economic aspect of community in coastal region. Modelling the coastal resources management system (CRMS) that including many elements (variable) and relationship inter-element in the system is very important to analyze the trend and sensitivity of the system that can apply to get the best policy in marine and coastal area development to reach the aims. <br />
<p align=\"justify\">The result of model simulation in basic scenario show the decreasing of fish stock and mangrove biomass in future, otherwise the fishing effort is standing increase so the fishing productivity (CPUE, catch per unit effort) is decreasing until the end of simulation. The population in basic scenario is standing increase that cause the decreasing of agriculture household income. <br />
<p align=\"justify\">The simulation also show that changing in marine fishery bioeconomic variable affect to the others important variable of model with very sensitive. The best policy of coastal resources management can obtained with using the sustainability scenario that summary of resources conservation scenario, i.e. with sanction for fishing that exceed catch limitation, no exploitation of mangroves and no conversion of mangrove area; non-agriculture business scenario and population control scenario. The sustainability scenario assure the maintain of fish stock and mangroves better, the population growth can reduced so the agriculture household income is standing increase. |
