Description
Summary:Indonesia Institute of Karate-do (INKAI) is the oldest and biggest karate association in Indonesia. With its’ enormous scale, INKAI needs a representative and effective visual identity. In group identification theory, a group’s achievements depend on supporters’ view of the group. This goes with the concept of branding, where audience’s view affects the brand’s success. Research was conducted, combining qualitative and quantitative methods through literature review, interview, and questionnaire. The acquired data is analysed to get brand brief, which will be translated into visual concept through keywords, colors, typography, logo, and supergraphic. Visual identity then applied to internal products, promotional media, and events. To maintain consistency, a guide is designed as an asset management.
