Summary:Dementia is a common term to describe the symptoms of cognitive impairment that interferes with someone's ability to perform daily activities. The older the age, the more vulnerable someone is to exposed to dementia. The number of elderly who will continue to grow in line with the increasing number of life expectancy in Indonesia, causing the ratio of elderly with dementia will become higher. The high projection of dementia cases that will occur in Indonesia, not comparable to the availability of non-pharmacological therapy medium which still very limited and less relevant to the context of Indonesian culture. This design aims to help the elderly with mild dementia in Indonesia obtain comfortable media in presenting a summary of non-pharmacological therapy materials, containing mind stimulating activities for daily use. This is one of the efforts to slow down the progression of dementia disease suffered by the elderly in Indonesia. The design of this activity book uses qualitative research methods by conducting a simple research and development process. Visual processing in the activity book can be understood by the elderly with mild dementia with some special provisions about illustration, color, layout, and theme adjustments to the Indonesian culture. The activity book could be one of the unique and effective media formats in presenting non-pharmacological therapeutic materials that stimulate elderly thinking with mild dementia.
