Recently, 3D modelling need such methodology revolutionary in order to accelerate data acquisition and as well as the formation of the 3D model. LOD2 is a basic block model with different roof styling which can be generated from remote sensing acquisition technologies, i.e aerial photogrammetry or airborne laser scanning. Currently, the ITB Campus in Jatinangor is set to be the venue of this research for developing LOD2 3D models that are reconstructed using UAV-LiDAR data acquisition and combination of high-resolution orthophoto as its secondary data source. The results are made to be stored digitally and complies to CityGML standards. In this research, the LOD2 building model is generated by two software-based methods, automated and half-automated reconstruction process using the combination of the softwares of TerraSolid, Revit, and FME, as well as the Building Reconstruction (BRec) software. The software combination of TerraSolid, Revit, and FME is the implementation of BIM and 3D-GIS integration at the application and data level. Meanwhile, BRec is a 3D model reconstruction software that is capable of generating building models that are integrated directly with 3D-GIS that supports CityGML export format and is OGC Standard-compliant. The usage of UAV-LiDAR data for high-quality LOD building reconstruction in the automatic method results in a more time-efficient process, in relative to the semi-automatic method that is noted by the importance of using the most appropriate reconstruction parameters attained with the complexity of building(s) in real world. However, the semi-automatic method will require the proper skills of using improvisation tools of building reconstruction software(s) in order to achieve the high level of time efficiency. text |
