Their personalities are strongly influenced by their role model and environment.
A research conducted by Defy media (2015) says that 96% teenagers are using youtube on their regular basis. One of the most popular YouTube content is prank videos. Prank videos have been trending several times on youtube. however most of the prank videos that became trending on youtube are controversial videos.According to the result of an online survey, teenagers in modern societies not really into prank videos, but teenagers who are in transitional societies find prank videos are interesting. Usually teenagers who live in village or small city are a part of transitional society.
For this reason, a role model is needed for teenagers to convey the dangers of prank videos. It can be a fictional character from an animation or any media content. as a preferred and easily accessible content for teenagers animation become the most appropriate media to educate teenagers about the dangers of prank videos. |
