Description
Summary:Jakarta is one of the coastal regions in Indonesia. The administrative city area in Jakarta, which is in direct contact with the sea area, is the City of North Jakarta has a land area of 142.20 km2. Jakarta's coastline spanned from the west (Muara Kamal Beach) to the Marunda Beach along 32 km. Some mainlands in northern Jakarta are below the average sea level, so it has the potential of tidal flooding. Tidal floods occur due to an increase in sea level caused by tides and also the land subsidence. The modeling used DEMNAS, LiDAR DEM, and other supporting data by using geographic information systems (GIS) technology to discover the potential of tidal flood in the Jakarta area. It references to the mean sea level and generates information about the affected area. The area affected by tidal floods is getting more prominent along with the increase of sea level and land subsidence in Jakarta. In this research also obtained the accuracy of the DEMNAS towards the LiDAR DEM that has high accuracy. From the results of validation accuracy using statistical calculations, it is known that DEMNAS low pass filter and DEMNAS before filtering has a weak correlation to LiDAR DEM. When it compared with LiDAR DEM data, the results are quite different from the spatial visualization and area affected by tidal flood. Thus, the results of DEMNAS and DEMNAS Low Pass Filters are not yet reliable.
