Before the formation of Indonesia, the mainland of Indonesia consists of many kingdoms that are spread throughout the many islands in Indonesia. Especially one of the islamic kingdoms in Indonesia, namely the Kingdom of Siak Sri Indrapura which is located in the Siak sub-district in Riau Province. The patriotism of Indonesian heroes who have defended the country should have been a hereditary story as an amplifier of love for the motherland. But the historical stories of Indonesia is always packaged in the form of lesson books that are used as educational material at school, most of which become boring for teenagers because of the necessity in learning them. The needs to know about Indonesian history is to increase love for the country, strengthen the unity and nationality. Because adolesence is an important segment of life in the individual’s development cycle and is a transition period that can be directed towards healthy adult development. For this reasons there is a need to connect between Indonesian history and its teenagers, and one of the connecters is comics. Comics are now part of pop culture and are a work of visual literature that is very popular with various groups from the past until now, because comic books are more easily understood by readers. It is the basis for the selection of the title for this final project, aims to provide alternative media for reading to the next generation about the history of the ingdom of Indonesia. With comics, teenagers can learn about the history of Indonesia with more fun because it is packed with pictures and interesting story lines. Therefore the need to make comic that can teach information about the history of the kingdom of Indonesia to teenagers with more interesting aspect of learning.
