One of the KSPK (Regency Strategic Tourism Areas) of North Garut is Cangkuang Lake and Cangkuang Temple Tourism Area which is also designated as one of the top tourist destinations according to the Tourism and Culture Office of Garut Districts and one of the three leading destinations mentioned by the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia. This shows great potential for the development of tourism areas as one of an effort to develop Garut Regency. The development of Cangkuang Lake and Cangkuang Temple Tourism Area need to be supported by the good amenities there. One of the lake transportation that exist there is the traditional boat raft. With the great quality of service from the raft, will be able to improve the quality of infrastructure and develop tourism areas. The results of the supply-demand analysis and physical carrying capacity showed that the quantity of traditional raft boats was inadequate, especially during peak season and when the capacity of the area is maximum. Then the results of the importance-performance analysis show that the quality of the services carried out also has not reached expectations of the interests of visitors. So, there are still many factors that needs to be improved in the service of this traditional raft boat, to providing the best experience for visitors and positive progress in the Cangkuang Lake and Cangkuang Temple Tourism Area.
