Summary: | Positioning Technology have been developed in past decade. However, positioning technology have moved to indoor developement from outdoor area nevertheless, GPS could not used in indoor localiation because there are many obstacle that will obstruct the GPS signal. One of the solution is Indoor Location Based Service(LBS) for Positioning using Received Signal Strength Indicator(RSSI) with smartphone device and Wi-Fi router. The solution that we want to take is supported by the increased of Wi-Fi and smartphone user at many places either it public or private such as hospital, train station, airport, or family house, this solution do not required any furthur installation and very cost effective because there are already so many Wi-FI router installed at many places. Indoor Localization for positioning is using electromagnetic waves at radio frequency that transmitted by Wi-Fi router and received by smartphone as RSSI, this value will be send to the server via MQTT protokol. The RSSI value that been sent are compared with the RSSI value on a fingerprint map that we already have on the database with the help of k-Nearest Neighbor method. In that way, we can help the user to go through the nearest route to user destination by using Dijkstra algorithm.
