Description
Summary:Conventionally, tidal reduction data in bathymetry surveys are obtained through tidal measurements using a tide gauge in a coastal area. The Real-Time Precise Point Positioning (RTPPP) method has the opportunity to be used to observe tides and determine horizontal positions in bathymetry surveys. This study uses tidal data measured by the RTPPP method and tidal measurements at tidal stations which are measured simultaneously when the bathymetry survey is conducted. The reduction values of the two tidal data are generated into two Digital Terrain Models (DTM) that refer to the same chart datum. To examine the quality of RTPPP method, Total Vertical Uncertainty (TVU) test of 12 samples points from each DTM adn comparison between two DTMs are conducted. Total Vertical Uncertainty (TVU) test of 12 samples points from DTM RTPPP fulfill the special order and comparison of the two DTMs shows that there is a difference in the value of depth in the presence of a formed volume of 116.511,10 ????3 from total area 2.054.970,21 ????2.
