Permenkes RI No 37 (201 7), explained that the implementation of traditional health services should be scientifically proven, safe, beneficial, qualified, and in accordance with the standards. The purpose of this research is to measure the satisfaction and effectiveness of "GI" acupuncture therapy at Klinik Akupunktur Bumi Medika Ganesa ITB and Klinik Akupunktur Sukamenak so that it can be a reference for quality improvement in accordance with the standards. This research was an descriptive observational study conducted concurrently (January-March 2020) through a direct interview with respondent were selected by purposive sampling technique using a validated questionnaire instrument. Patient satisfaction level of the quality service was assessed using questionnaire based on SERVQUAL (Service Quality) method to 139 respondents at Klinik Akupunktur Bumi Medika Ganesa ITB and 155 respondents at Klinik Akupunktur Sukamenak. The results of this study showed the average of highest satisfaction scores comes from the dimensions of emphaty (4.38 ± 0.05), while the lowest satisfaction scores comes from the dimension of tangibles (3.45 ± 0.28). Effectiveness of therapy was assessed to top four cases most diseases experienced by "GI" acupuncture therapy patients included stroke, musculoskeletal disorders, cephalgia, and vertigo. The results showed there was a significant difference between increased Barthel Index score (stroke), decreased the pain score of Visual Analogue Scale (musculoskeletal disorder, cephalgia), and decreased the spinning dizzy score of Visual Analogue Vertigo Scale (vertigo) with a number of acupuncture therapies (p < 0.05). So it can be concluded that the "GI" acupuncture was an effective as a complementary therapy to improved the motoric activities of stroke patients, also as a complementary and alternative therapy to decreased the pain (musculoskeletal disorder, cephalgia), and the spinning dizzy (vertigo). text
