The software prototype has been called P3Kom (Pemodelan Penggunaan Perangkat Keras Komputer), a computer hardware utility model.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> The modelling developed in P3Kom is based on regression model that states the functional relations among the hardware resources of the mainframe computer, which includes CPU time in millisecond, the number of accesses into disk and the number of memories used in kilobytes.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> Regression models which are able to be created in P3Kom include linear, exponential, growth, logistic and polynomial models, both for simple and multiple models.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> The process of this modeling is based on the result of sampling research on computer hardware utilities. It contains the process of normality test, scatter diagram, parameter estimation, variance analysis and forecasting.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> P3Kom can be used for forming certain regression model it can also be used for generating all possible models and ranking for every regression model which is most appropriate in forecasting process.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> The prototype is implemented using Borland Delphi in Window 95 operating system.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> text |
