So, the result of this study was expected to be use as preventive ®?ð?? ?¸/??????í ?? ®???ãð® ??± ??±??????ð?????± í?? ?’?í± ??í ?? ???ð????± ?±? ?±¸????í± purpose of this study was to determine the effect of intermittent fasting on immune system through index phagocytic in vitro, total leukocyte count, spleen and thymus index parameters and to determine its effect on health through body mass index parameter. The study was carried out using the comparison drug which is capsule herbal drug at a dose 3,9 mg/kg BW. The treatment of intermittent fasting was done 16 hours per day. The phagocytic index of intermittent fasting group (1.138), comparison group (1.362) and combination group (1530) increased after 21 days of treatment. Total leukocytes count in combination group was 5750 cells/mm3 decreased, while the intermittent fasting group 9350 cells/mm3 and the comparison group 8360 cells/mm3 increased as compared to normal group after 21 days of treatment. The index of spleen and thymus organs of the intermittent fasting group and the combination group decreased as compared to normal group after 31 days of treatment. Body mass index decreased significantly in the first 7 days of intermittent fasting treatment. The results of the study stated that intermittent fasting, comparison substance, and the combination was immune stimulation for non-specific immune systems, but not for specific immune systems. text |
