Description
Summary:Rice is a food crop in the form of clumped grass, originating from ancient agriculture on two continents, Asia and West Africa, tropical and subtropical. Rice is distinguished in two types of farming methods: upland rice that is planted in high altitude or uses dry land that depends on rainfall for irrigation and lowland rice that requires high water content and is very dependent on irrigation from rivers or reservoirs through an irrigation system. The existence of dry land as rice cultivation is now a form of sub-optimal land use. The development of dry land is considered to be much cheaper because it relatively does not require the completeness of supporting facilities such as irrigated rice fields. Therefore we need a tool that can be used by farming communities as a direct seed planting tool to help the productivity of their farming business in the process of planting takes place. Equipment that is materially able to survive, lightweight and affordable prices for farming communities in the highlands so that it is suitable for dry land and hilly conditions. Easy to dismantle and install so that according to the procedure time in the process of planting seeds. Unnecessary equipment maintenance must be brought to the city so that it can be repaired in a highland and practical workshop.
