Summary: | Abstract :
Refer to two digits ISIC Code, Indonesian\'s manufacturing industries consist of nine industrial groups (ISIC Code 31 - 39), and Indonesian\'s 66 sectors of input output table classifies in twenty four groups (10 Code 27-50). Starting on import substitution, Indonesian\'s government focuses on export orientation policies. A number of debureaucratization and deregulation packages are issued continuously to enhance efficiency of industrial production process and increase the international market compatibility.

This thesis tries to learn and to analyze the tariff protection policies which Indonesian\'s government has already done in non-oil and gas manufacturing industries. The focus of the research on protection rate and domestic resources allocation describes how far the manufacturing industrial product compatibility in international market.

The result of Indonesian\'s non-oil and gas manufacturing industries data processing and analyzing shows only three of twenty-three kinds of manufacturing industries are efficient in resource allocation. This condition makes the industrial product has a low compatibility in international market.

Therefore, the good policies are necessatied as part of Indonesian\'s contribution in creating international global trading to give the advantages on the Indonesian\'s domestic economy. Finally, these policies can drive industrialists to produce the higher compatibility outputs. |
