Description
Summary:The climate change issue or global warming currently is a global phenomena that getting worse each day. Global temperatures ranked in the top four of the highest temperatures for the past 140 years. This encourages people to find solutions to reduce the impact of climate change. One of them is the use of natural materials as a substitute for materials that are difficult to reproduce, it is bioplastic. This bioplastic becomes a solution that is able to replace the use of plastic. Example of the most plastic products is food packaging plastics, which are dry food and instant food. The solution of this problem is bioplastics by using a material from algae extraction for food packaging by using vacuum techniques. This product can become a solution in reducing the impact of global warming and reducing plastic waste with the presence of environmentally friendly product, considering that Indonesia is one of the largest algae suppliers. Then there is a need for further research on the development of algae bioplastic materials that can be used as food packaging .
