Summary:<b>Abstract:<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> In the last decade, companies usually measure their performance with financial perspective or too narrowly on financial measures, is it enough ? In many cases probably not. Executive know that their company must develop the capabilities which it will need to prosper in the future.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> In the information age companies need a measurement system that can calculate financial and non financial measures. The Balanced Scorecard (BSC) complements financial measures of past performance with measures of drivers of future performance.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> PT Patra Dok Dumai (PT PDD) is a Pertamina subsidiary company that involve in shiprepair service. Facing globalitation and restructuritation in Pertamina, PT PDD must have a good performance to win the competition. Financially the performance of PT PDD is going better, but to know a total performance the company must measures from comprehensive picture.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> The BSC is more than a tactical or an operational measurement system, with BSC PT PDD can translates organization/company vision into a comprehensive set of performance measures that provides the framework for a strategic measurement and management system. The objectives and measures of the scorecard are derived from company vision into four perspectives : financial, customer, internal business process, and learning and growth.
