However, the fact shows that almost 90% of startups from various sectors from all over the world fail to develop their startups (Neil, 2015). There are several reasons why startups can fail to run their business, one of the important factors is a poor team (Griffith, 2014). To avoid have a poor team, they need an employee engagement to increase the employee performance, individual participation, happiness and enthusiasm for work (Sambrook, 2014). However, startup have a lot of limitations such as capital, resources, and knowledge to increase their employee engagement. So, in this research, the author aims to help startup in Bandung to know what is the significant variable that influence employee engagement in startup company. The independent and dependent factors on this research are: Leadership (X1), Organizational Culture (X2), Rewards (X3), and Employee Engagement (Y). In this research using explanatory research with a quantitative approach, the analysis technique used is Multiple Linear Regression (MLR) using SPSS software. Data collection using non-probability sampling method type of purposive sampling from 87 respondent using online questionnaire. The results of the research are: (1) Leadership has a positive effect but not significant on employee engagement, (2) Organization Culture has a positive and significant effect on employee engagement, (3) Compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee engagement. (4) Leadership, Organizational Culture, and Compensation simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee engagement. This three-variable contribution 78,7%. to employee engagement.
