Description
Summary:This project is included in the typology of health buildings, namely the Class B Regional Government Hospital of Bandung Regency, which is located on Soreang-Banjaran Road, Bandung Regency. This project will be built on a 4 hectare land or 40,703m2 located in the government / special facilities / public facilities area with a KDB of 60% and a KLB of 3. This land is located on a water catchment area so that basement is not allowed on the land. The primary user target of this hospital are the community around the location from the lower to middle to upper class economy class. The design of this hospital uses a form follow function approach where the function of space becomes an important part of the design process. The basic concept proposed in this hospital design is the Biophilic Design Approach in Creating a Healing Environment. Biophilic design is a design that provides an opportunity for people to live and work in a healthy place, with minimum stress levels, and provide a prosperous life by integrating nature with natural materials and natural forms into the design. This biophilic design was chosen because of its strong design approach in helping patient recovery, seen from various studies conducted. The hospital design results in the form of 3 masses divided into 3 service functions, public, service, and semi-public with the characteristics of a double loaded corridor that surrounds the inner court. The number of floors in this hospital is 1-7 floors for each mass with a capacity of 440 beds. The structure used in hospital is reinforced concrete structures.
