Description
Summary:Kabupaten Bandung 2016-2020, 2015). Based on this, the Kabupaten Bandung government together with the Central Government or other institutions are working together in making a development program for several sanitation infrastructures spread across villages. This research was conducted to analyze the sustainability strategy of sanitation infrastructure in Bandung Regency, especially in the communal toilet (Bathing, Washing, and Toilet) infrastructure that was built in the study locations of Lengkong Village, Pamekaran Village and Pasirhuni Village with a total of five location points. The selection of study sites is based on differences in types of communal toilet that are built, development programs, and funding sources. This research was conducted by field observation methods, interviews with managers, and distributing questionnaires to the local community with the number of respondents in each communal toilet point as many as 10 people who are considered to represent other users. The sustainability strategy analysis method chosen uses the SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat) analysis which consists of an assessment of internal and external factors obtained based on the sanitation sustainability variables and analyzed with the data obtained. The resulting strategy analysis consists of four sustainability strategies consisting of SO (Strength-Opportunity), ST (Strength-Threat), WO (Weakness-Opportunity), and WT (Weakness-Threat) strategies. The results of the analysis show that there are differences in the sustainability strategy of each location study that can be a recommendation for the manager or local government who built the communal toilet so that it can be used sustainably
