Concomintant with population growth and social-economic improvement, it’s concequently make an increase in demand for electricity. Corresponding with Presiden Jokowi's program about Nawacita that fulfill food and water security, the government plans to build some Dam to increase amount of water storage in Indonesia. Therefore, the government will build 65 dams, one of them is the Bendo Dam construction project. The main purpose of this construction project is to supply irigation water in Madiun and Ponorogo Regency. Accordingly with the large capacity of Bendo Dam, the author has an idea to make a hydro power plant in Bendo Dam, so the Dam not just only supply the irigation water and but it is also supply the electicity demands. The result of this hydropower plant can produce a power potential of 32.6 MW using a reliable discharge of 80%. text
