Huawei Technologies Co Ltd. is one of the giant technology company in the world introduced PT Huawei Tech Investment (PTHTI) as its representative office in Indonesia. Technology overgrow following people requirement for more advance features, fast connection, and real-time information. The hi-tech industry offers a high demand market while it also pushes the industry to catch up with the expectation for better, faster, cheaper products, and services. Evolving technology is inevitable. From 2G, 3G, 4G, and upcoming 5G. PT Huawei Tech Investment, as one of the leading telecommunication provider, has to be prepared in strategic business for 5G implementation. The purpose of the research is to develop a business strategy for PT Huawei Tech Investment to implement 5G technology in Indonesia. Research objective utilized by a conceptual framework that has been compiled by the author. Data collection conducted through interviews with telecommunication stakeholders along with an online survey questionnaire for a general perspective. Various analyses to understand the telecommunication business environment: started with PESTEL analysis and Five Forces Porter analysis. The business strategy developed by utilized the business canvas model. The implementation of the strategies conducted by modernization current network & transport band-with readiness, trial for 5G smooth implementation, human resources skillful factors, and alignment with stakeholders because 5G strongly relate with infrastructure. text |
