Summary:In a meeting room, a system is needed to quickly record the attendance of people in that room. Most systems that exist today are doing presence manually, such as fingerprints. Even if fingerprints are used, fingerprint that are unknown to their presence will be denied and take long time to register. With the rapid development of machine learning technology at this time, as well as the Internet of Things (IoT), the technology can be utilized for the benefit of the meeting room. The method taken is to attend by detecting faces. The method uses the Dlib library for deep learning, OpenCV for processing video cameras and Face Recognition for processing Dlib. Some cameras can be placed in the room as needed. In this study only one camera was used to make the basic system. The results of this study in the form of face detection that can be recognized and not recognized are shown on a website display.
