<b>Abstrac :</b><p align=\"justify\"> <br /> Trend of digital technology development is indicated by convergences between communication technology, computer technology and content. These conditions also are influenced by the Internet development, which change the paradigm of telecommunication from voice oriented to data packed oriented. The technology, which resulted from these convergences, is VoIP (Voice over IP), where the voice sends in packed data via network Internet. In this case, voice signal is compressed from 64 kbps to 5,3 until 8 Kbps, so the bandwidth usage will be decrease. <br /> <br /> The VoIP gave possibility to reduce voice communication in cost but there is some problem to be investigated whether the technology is feasibility or not economically <br /> <br /> The thesis evaluates business prospect of VoIP implementation. The evaluation is focused on retail side (ISP, Warnet and Enterprise). Research in this thesis was carried in 2 steps: evaluation of business feasibility (market, technology, finance and regulation) and business prospect in Indonesia with consider of some indicator, market condition and investation chance. This thesis uses analytic descriptive through literature study, article, data from Internet and other source. <br /> <br /> The result of the thesis shows that every zone will save: ISP 43,52%, 57,10%, and 60,26%, Enterprise 47,86%, 53,38% and 55,29%, mean while for the Warnet depend on margin that they want to take
