Potensiana is also an information portal for regions in Indonesia so that the public (consumers) can find out specific products from a particular region or producer. Of course, producers can sell their products in Potensiana. Potensiana makes it easy for people who want to know, buy, or market products, especially those from specific regions in Indonesia. This research was conducted to identify and analyze the problems faced by the company by analyzing the critical success factors of internal and external factors and looking for inhibiting factors in the implementation of blockchain technology in the company. Semi-structured interviews with Potensiana management, e-commerce owners and founders, blockchain experts, and literature studies are also the author's use as a data collection method in this qualitative research. This research shows that the implementation of the blockchain in Potensiana is still in the early stages. The study results suggest improving skills in blockchain technology in e-commerce, especially in Potensiana, such as cooperation from various parties, technology integration, and professional staff in the commodity and information technology industries. Overall, this thesis allows the reader to better understand the implementation of blockchain technology in e-commerce. It generates people's knowledge of how this technology affects another industry besides the financial sector and increases knowledge that blockchain is not just about bitcoin (virtual currency). Furthermore, the author provides insight into and guidelines on how organizations in the e-commerce industry may respond to these emerging phenomena and may leverage the potential. text |
