PROPOSED BUSINESS STRATEGY FOR TJETAK.COM COMPANY IN PACKAGING INDUSTRY

PT. Katalisator Asa Indonesia (Tjetak.com) is a company engaged in the packaging field. The Tjetak.com company is based in Jakarta, formed in 2017. Tjetak.com is an online packaging platform that connects conventional packaging companies with business people. Unlike printing companies in general, Tjetak is here to provide packaging solutions for all types of companies from small to large scale. The absence of an adequate business model can threaten the sustainability of Tjetak.com. In this research, the researcher attempt to create a conceptual thinking framework to solve business problem that Tjetak have. The conceptual thinking framework include business problem identification up to implementation planning. The researcher also conduct both external (PESTLE, Porter’s 5 forces and competitors analysis) and internal analysis (business model canvas, VRIO, interview , and SWOT) to analyze the challenges that Tjetak.com have. The researcher found some finding in regards to the business issues that Tjetak have. The solution proposed by the researcher includes cost leadership strategy, and operational excellence.
