In the design of the Fluid Architecture Building in this final design project, there are several fields, one of which are transportation engineering and water resources engineering. Transportation engineering design includes parking spaces design, pavement road design, peak hours of the planning year modeling, and circulation design. Meanwhile, water resources engineering design include drainage systems and rainwater reservoir. In this 10-story building, there are several functions such as commercial, hotel, and cinema. The construction of this building will increasingly burden the road traffic around the building due to generation and attraction that occurs. Therefore, it is necessary to design pavement and traffic around the building. Moreover, it is also necessary to design a parking space as a facility for building users. Simulation is needed to model traffic after the building is operated as well. Drainage is also an important factor in a building design. Drainage is required to drain rainwater into urban drainage or it could be collected for use. In this final design project, the water obtained from the rain will be collected in the rainwater reservoir for building operations. text |
