Description
Summary:Numb3rs is a tv series aired by CBS. In solving his cases Charlie assists Don with mathematical analysis. This event tells about an FBI agent (Don Eppes), and his younger brother (Charlie Eppes) who works as a math professor working together to solve criminal cases. In Vector episode Numb3rs, a deadly virus suddenly spreads in the city of Los Angeles, and Charlie simulates the spread of the virus to find the starting point of the virus spread and find out how the virus spread. The virus spread simulation is modeled on the basis of the Suspectible, Infectible, Recovered (SIR) model and graph theory. In this final project, a simulation of how the virus spreads in the City of Los Angeles will be simulated and analyze the information available about how the virus spreads based on the simulation results. The simulation was carried out using 3 graph structures, namely, distance method, random network method, scale-free network method, then the minimum spanning tree method was used to simulate the spread of the virus with the weight searched using the SIR model.
