Organizations and employers are adapting to this change, especially in internet utilization. The internet makes the workers able to work from anywhere with internet connection. Teleworking is one of the working arrangements that maximize the utilization of the internet. This work arrangement gives flexibility for workers to work from anywhere at any time as long as they have internet access. This arrangement first gained its popularity in 1970s and the number of teleworkers is increasing ever since, including in Indonesia. Changes in the workforce boost the implementation of teleworking and now Generation Z started to enter the workforce. But each individual has different personality and attitudes toward teleworking. This research purpose is to identify the relationship between personality and attitudes toward teleworking using the Big Five personality traits. Data for this research was gathered using online questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. Data analysis shows that from five personality factors, only Openness that is significantly related to attitudes toward teleworking. Openness has a positive significant relationship with attitudes toward teleworking. text |
