The data obtained through the HydroColor application is not direct chlorophyll-a data but the RGB wavelength data, where the RGB wavelength will be input into an equation that will produce a chlorophyll-a concentration value. The study was conducted in Banten Bay on October 27, 2019. The study was conducted with 4 scenarios, the difference between these three scenarios is the smartphone camera resolution and the amount of data used. HydroColor application can be used in waters if you use a smartphone with a good camera resolution and a large amount of data. Because camera resolution and amount of data greatly affect the results.
