Description
Summary:The number of people in a certain area tends to increase, and in turn it causes land availability to decrease since it will be used for their housing area. On the other hand, to fulfill their food needs, some parts of land area should be provided. These two different aims may cause a land usage conflict problem. In this final project, a game theory will be applied to study that conflict problem by considering a conflict between players who have different objectives, namely a player wanting land development for residents and a player wanting land for food production (rice fields). The Cellular Automata model will be used to model spatial population growth. Nash Equilibrium is then investigated for above problem.
